Where We Work

Southern Industrial Hydraulics works out of one shop at 143 Eastpark Drive in Eunice, in St. Landry Parish, and we travel to the job across Acadiana and Southwest Louisiana. Eunice sits on Highway 190 roughly in the middle of the farming and industrial belt that runs from Lafayette to Lake Charles, which is why the shop sees rice and crawfish equipment, construction machinery and plant hydraulics in the same week.

Towns and parishes we serve

  • St. Landry Parish: Eunice, Opelousas, Church Point, Sunset, Port Barre
  • Evangeline Parish: Ville Platte, Mamou, Basile, Pine Prairie
  • Acadia Parish: Crowley, Rayne, Iota, Church Point
  • Jefferson Davis Parish: Jennings, Welsh, Lake Arthur
  • Lafayette Parish: Lafayette, Scott, Duson, Carencro
  • Also: Kinder, Oakdale, Elton and the surrounding Allen Parish communities

Do I have to bring the equipment to you?

No. We travel to the job for onsite repair, and we also work out of the Eunice shop. Which one makes sense depends on the job. Hose work and field breakdowns are usually faster onsite, because we build the hose on the spot. Cylinder rebuilds, pump and motor work, honing and chrome plating happen at the shop, where the tooling and the test equipment live. Call and we will tell you which one your job needs.

Industries we work in

Farming and rice equipment, crawfish and aquaculture equipment, construction and earthmoving machinery, industrial and plant hydraulics, and the heavy equipment that moves between them. The shop takes jobs both large and small, across a wide variety of industries, which in practice means it is used to one off components as well as fleet work.

What we repair

Common questions

Where is Southern Industrial Hydraulics located?
143 Eastpark Drive, Eunice, Louisiana 70535, on Highway 190 in St. Landry Parish.

What are your hours?
Monday through Friday, 7:30am to 4:00pm. Closed Saturday and Sunday.

What do you repair?
All major brands of hydraulic cylinders, pumps, motors, control valves, power steering cylinders, commercial log splitters and crawfish boats. We build custom hydraulic hoses and fittings in house on Balflex USA production equipment, to manufacturer or NAHAD standards, and we run a general machine shop for the parts that do not exist off the shelf.

Do you charge to look at it?
No. We give you a reasonable time and cost estimate before any work starts, and we will tell you if a repair is not worth it against a replacement.

How long will my repair take?
You get a time estimate in writing after the teardown, because the honest answer depends on what is wrong inside the unit and on parts availability for your make and model.

How long have you been in business?
Since 2018, in Eunice.

How do I get a repair started?
